Get Involved

General Involvement

JASAN members have told us the most important result they want from their membership is to stay connected with former colleagues.  Many also talk about the joy of spending time with the students in JA programs.  Whether you are no longer working or working full or part-time, we have opportunities for you to get involved!

With as little as an hour or two a month, you can serve on a JASAN committee or help with a project.

With as little as three hours you can volunteer virtually (yes, virtually!) in a classroom.  You can volunteer in the city where you spent your JA career – even if you don’t live there anymore.  You can volunteer where you live now – or you can volunteer where you grew up!  There are lots of new programs – and programs you’ll recognize!  To decide which program is best for you, check it out!

We hope you decide to make a difference by getting involved!

The JA Staff Alumni Network is made up of more than 300 members.  These members are from all parts of the country and represent diverse age groups, current employment status, and JA job backgrounds.  We are always looking for more input and insight from our members.
